Our Story

I asked Rebecca to write down the story of her and Jeffrey as well as send some pictures of the two of them. This is their story in her own words.

Jeffrey and I met on February 4, 2008 at Family Home Evening. Delilah was in a very outgoing mood so as we walked into FHE she said hi to the first guy who was there which was Jeffrey.

He came over to talk to us and we learned that he was Delilah's Home Teacher. The activity for the night was to sculpt ice cream into anything we wanted it to be.

Jeffrey joined our team and we created a turtle with orange/vanilla sherbert. It was awesome.

Afterwards we got to talking and during some point in the conversation I said to myself Heavenly Father I want someone like him. Little did I know at the time that I would get him. I think he was talking about going 90 mph on his Bike when I thought that.

Delilah and I asked him if he had ever seen Firefly. He hadn't so I invited him over to watch it.

Once he came over he pretty much never left. Haha. He came back that Wednesday after institute and I think we invited him over on either Friday or Saturday as well. He pretty much spent two to three days a week at our place until we started dating then he spent every day while I was in town at our place.

I remember spending over an hour with him on the phone before we started dating and I was just grinning from ear to ear. I woke up smiling.

We started dating after a fhe activity that actually was on dating.

We continued the conversation back at my place.

He said hmm thats weird.

I asked what was and he said I had been thinking abut why Ricky and I weren't clicking and the impression came to me that I should be dating you thats why.

So we dated then became engaged and will be married in the Lords own way. :)
