Test Score!

Jeffrey took the ASVAB test on Thursday. This test determines if Jeffrey would be able to get into the military and then also if he had high enough scores to get into the career field he would like to. Each career field requires you to go to school for it. There was a guy who was also joining the coast guard and he told Jeffrey that he had been studying for 6 months for this test. The instructor there informed the test takers that it was OK if they did not pass it the first time and that they have a good number of people that come back again and again to take it. Well this made Jeffrey a wee bit nervous as he had only found out on Sunday that he would even be joining a military service. He had taken a couple of short practice test and one 100 question test. Jeffrey comes home from taking the test and meeting with the recruiter again and hands me the envelope with the scores in it. His face is pretty emotion less so I was worried. He got a score of 90%!!! The recruiter was very very impressed! He told him to go home and celebrate cause he got a really good score. We celebrated by drinking IBCs and eating ice cream while watching Firefly :) His score means that he can get into any career field school that he wants. Of course he is choosing the health services field!
