Happily Unemployed

Friday, January 23, 2009 was my last day with Tele Atlas! I loved the company and loved the people I got to work with over the years. I was just shy of my 5 year anniversary. I was hired March 4, 2004. As much as I loved my job and the people there I am so excited to be unemployed. My full time job now is to pack everything up for the move to South Carolina :) I'm looking forward to the move (especially now that I know the trip will go smoothly) and to seeing Jeffrey again!!! I was on the phone with a gentlemen who handles moves to and from the nuclear base in South Carolina. He asked when my husband arrived and I told him on the 10th which is a Tuesday. He then told me well we can probably get him out to you by Thursday. Say what? There is a chance that Jeffrey and I could spend Valentines day together! While I have always thought of it as a commercial holiday it will be nice to spend it with him. If he does come home a week early then I spent my last Sunday in the SA 2nd ward for church. That also means that I have 7-8 days to pack up the apartment since I will be spending 10 days traveling. Once again I am happy to be unemployed. I have to admit that while I have a lot of stuff to do that I did not need to be woken up by an alarm today. That meant though that I slept in til 10AM. Ohhh but it was so nice to wake up on my own and I think the baby enjoyed it too. :)
